Celebrate Ringo Starr’s birthday with peace and love all week on The Beatles Channel

SiriusXM’s The Beatles Channel (ch. 18) is celebrating Ringo Starr’s birthday (July 7) with exclusive specials all week long. Check out the full programming schedule below, and start listening to The Beatles Channel via radios and the SXM App now.

Additionally, on July 7, Ringo Starr and his wife, Barbara Starkey, will be joined on his birthday by family and friends, including Joe and Marjorie Walsh, All Starrs (past and present) Edgar Winter, and Gregg Bissonette, Sheila E., Richard Marx, Jim Keltner as well as friends Benmont Tench, Mike Campbell, Ed Begley Jr, Diane Warren, Roy Orbison Jr and more.

They will gather together in Los Angeles for Ringo’s annual Peace & Love Birthday event and, at 12 pm PST, give the traditional “Peace and Love” exclamation. NASA continues to support spreading the message to the universe and will send a pre-recorded message from Ringo into the universe at 12 pm PST from Barstow, California-based station in the Deep Space Network.

Prior to this, musicians, including Silversun Pickups, Blake Mills and King Tuff, will celebrate Ringo’s music with tribute performances.

Fab Fourum: Dennis Elsas, Bill Flanagan and Tom Frangione will host a birthday tribute to Ringo Starr, featuring a new exclusive interview with Ringo, plus current member of Ringo’s All Starr Band Steve Lukather and former All Starr Sheila E will join the festivities.
