Celebrate the life of Linda McCartney on The Beatles Channel
In honour of Women’s History Month, The Beatles Channel (Ch. 18) presents A Tribute to Linda McCartney, a new special hosted by Bill Flanagan.
Listeners will hear exclusive commentary about Linda’s life and legacy from Paul McCartney, Mary McCartney, Neil Young, Chrissie Hynde and Judy Collins.
The special will feature music from and inspired by Linda performed by Paul – both with and without Linda, as a solo artist and with his classic group, Wings. Listeners will also hear songs written and performed by Linda, both with and without Paul.
The special coincides with the North American premiere of the Linda McCartney Retrospective at The University of Arizona Center for Creative Photography from February 25 to August 5, 2023. The exhibition celebrates Linda’s 30-year, barrier-breaking career, as well as her connection to Tucson, Arizona. Click HERE for more information.
