Mardi Gras Radio Returns With Socially Distanced Parade Host Jon Batiste
While donning your best mask may have taken on a different meaning since last Mardi Gras, we’re keeping the Fat Tuesday spirit alive with the return of Mardi Gras Radio! Bringing the heart of NOLA to the nation, Mardi Gras Radio takes over Channel 67 from Friday, February 12th at 9 am ET all the way through Wednesday, February 17th at 9 am ET.
With the resilient essence of the Crescent City, Mardi Gras Radio is the soundtrack to any Mardi Gras celebration with nonstop New Orleans music. Join us for five days of letting the good times roll with music from Trombone Shorty, Dr. John, the Neville Brothers, Louis Armstrong, Preservation Jazz Hall Band, and more!
This year, hosting our socially distanced “parade” is New Orleans native, pianist, and bandleader Jon Batiste from the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Jon will host and play some of his favourite NOLA artists, plus give a sneak preview of his new album We Are out in March.
