“Même les cowgirls ont les blues” highlights women storytellers in French Canadian country and folk music
March is Women’s History Month, and SiriusXM Canada is celebrating the achievement of women across multiple fields, including music and sports. Même les cowgirls ont les blues is a special on Women Storytellers in French Canadian Country and Folk Music, hosted by Melissa Maya Falkenberg. Inspired by Tom Robbin’s novel Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, this special show is all about passion, freedom, vulnerability, and rebellion. It will feature singers, composers and songs that broke the barriers of sexuality and languages in Quebec or that can make us advance as a better society. Enjoy the fun and bumpy ride!
