SiriusXM Remembers The Legacy of Neil Peart With The Rush Tribute Channel
RUSH’s Neil Peart has passed away at the age of 67. According to his spokesperson, he had been quietly battling brain cancer for the past 3 years.
To say Peart was one of popular music’s most beloved drummers would be an understatement. As a member of rock’s holy triumvirate alongside Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, he helped create some of the most enduring music in rock. Along with his prowess behind the kit, Peart was also the band’s lyricist.
