SiriusXM crowns Andrew Hyatt Top of the Country Winner
We’ve been looking for Canada’s next big country act with our nationwide Top of the Country competition! We’re proud to announce Andrew Hyatt as the winner of the inaugural SiriusXM Top of the Country program. Our finalists battled it out on stage before Tim Hicks headlined our SiriusXM CCMA Top of the Country Finale, airing live on SiriusXM CH. 171 with music industry judges and fans in the audience voting to decide the winner.
Andrew Hyatt was awarded $25,000 live at our Top of the Country showcase during CCMA Country Music Week in Hamilton, Ontario after the live fan vote and the final word from our judges. Hyatt also participated in mentorship sessions with industry professionals in Toronto, performed at Canada’s biggest country music festivals, and recorded a song with us during the Top of the Country program:

A NOTE FROM THE BOSS:
“Fostering and promoting new Canadian talent has always been incredibly important to SiriusXM and to our partner, the CCMA,” said Jeff Leake, Director of Music Programming. “So as Canada’s premier music provider, we wanted to shine a light on the burgeoning community of up and coming country artists to give them the exposure they deserve and need to help take their music careers to the next level.”
