The 2024 Sony Open in Hawaii is on SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio this weekend
Tune in to SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio as the PGA TOUR concludes its annual Hawaiian swing this week with the 2024 Sony Open in Hawaii, taking place at the esteemed Waialae Country Club. This picturesque course, situated in Honolulu, has been the backdrop for the Sony Open since its inception in 1965, offering a challenging 7,044-yard par 70 layout with Bermudagrass greens.
Following last week’s truncated 59-man field at Kapalua, the Sony Open in Hawaii reverts to a standard Full-Field Event, complete with a 36-hole cut. A field of 144 players will compete for a substantial $8.3 million purse, with the top 65 and ties advancing to the weekend in pursuit of the coveted $1.4 million first-place prize.
The field boasts an impressive lineup, led by defending champion Si Woo Kim, alongside formidable contenders such as Tyrrell Hatton, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Ludvig Åberg, and last week’s Sentry Tournament of Champions winner, Chris Kirk.
