Tim Baker – Survivors
Former Hey, Rosetta frontman Tim Baker is back with a brand new EP called Survivors. This is the first release since his critically acclaimed debut solo album Forever Overhead came out just a little over a year ago. Baker is leading with the title track which is about the artist’s observations around the resilience of the world during this ongoing global pandemic. You can preorder the album now which comes out on July 10th via Arts & Crafts.
Reuben and The Dark – We Will Get There
Rueben and the Dark have always made an effort to put community first and foremost. If you just take a look at the videos posted on his social media accounts you’ll see the undeniable connection that he has to his audience. Now he’s released a brand new song called “We Will Get There”. It’s an incredibly uplifting tune speaking about the current situation of the world and important it is to find a silver lining.
Rich Aucoin – How It Breaks
Rich Aucoin has just released his brand new single called “How it Breaks”. The song was written in Arizona during a cycling tour Aucoin was doing on behalf of different mental health charities. This song harkens back to traditional protest songs of the ’60s and functions like a call to action.
Rhye – Beautiful.
Polaris Prize-nominated Rhye are back with their brand new single called “Beautiful”. This is the band’s first new material since their Juno award album Blood. Lead singer Mike Milosh spoke about how we need to stay positive during quarantine and how it’s important to find beauty in simple things.
