Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand & Creative Labs

We are currently looking for a skilled and savvy Designer who has a passion for media, music, sports, and entertainment. You will play a key role in defining and driving the SiriusXM brand and will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and creating engaging communications for various platforms, in both static and motion graphic formats. Projects will span from digital advertising campaigns; social content; logos; emails; OOH programs; print promotional material; point-of-sale displays; tradeshow collateral, and other marketing and sales communications materials.

Accountabilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and execute effective and on-brand designs for various digital platforms (email, social media, digital advertising, and websites).
  • Produce designs for print materials such as POS, brochures, posters, banners, and signage etc.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company brand standards
  • Lead brainstorming sessions with various marketing teams.
  • Balance and manage workload based on project priority and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other designers and marketing primes to review project scope and understand project needs.
  • Manage creative file sharing system to ensure all files are accurately archived and backed up for future reference.
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners, including stock photography representatives, illustrators, and production/printing companies.
  • Manage the purchasing rights to photography, site subscriptions, and department asset licensing.
  • Coordinate the timely production and distribution of marketing collateral, including liaising with production companies and other third-party vendors.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral adheres to brand guidelines and meets the highest standards of quality.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Level of Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma within Graphic Design, or related field. Applicants without a design portfolio will not be considered

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of professional graphic design experience with capabilities in motion graphics and editing.
  • Experience in technology, media & entertainment, automotive, and/or subscription services is an asset.
  • Proven experience with branding, building brand identity and digital design is an asset.
  • Experience conceptualizing and producing social content and implementing a brand social/content strategy.
  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional groups and departments.
  • Experience with project management tools (i.e. Monday.com) is an asset.
  • Deep understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc…)
  • Working knowledge of Cinema 4D is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
  • Experience working in Canva
  • Experience working on responsive sites and mobile applications is an asset
  • Passionate about design, layout principles, typography, and colour theory
  • Willingness to learn new software and skills as needed
  • Desire and committed to work in a fast-paced client-focused environment
  • Up to date on latest trends in design, technology, and digital
  • Ability to manage self, time, and priorities; ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Ability to work as part of a team, but comfortable working independently as required
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain a professional approach as needed
  • Strong sense of urgency and achievement
  • Demonstration of creative problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in French is a plus.
