We are currently looking for a skilled and passionate Manager, English Canadian Content Development Sponsorship & Events who will be responsible for managing the strategic direction and execution of SiriusXM’s English Canadian Content Development (CCD) programs and initiatives. In addition, the role will support the administration of CCD and industry relations.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience working in events and sponsorship, managing and executing sponsorships from small to large scale and working with multiple partners. They will have a passion for elevating Canadian artists and music across the country. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a skillful ability to coordinate multiple projects, exhibiting strong time management and prioritization abilities, while working collaboratively with many internal and external groups. They need to be highly organized to provide administrative support for all facets of CCD, including post-event reporting and CRTC requirements.

You will report to the Associate Director, Communications, Sponsorship and CCD and be an integral part of the SiriusXM Canada team, working alongside Brand, Social, Creative Labs, Events & Sponsorships, and Communications groups.

Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Lead management and execution of English CCD sponsorships and act as key point of contact for English CCD partners.
  • Attend events to oversee CCD event deliverables, including promotion and production of assets related to Canadian artists.
  • Identify CCD sponsorship opportunities and support contract negotiation to maximize opportunities for Canadian artists.
  • Execute and track CCD sponsorship asset deliverables.
  • Coordinate, compile and deliver CCD event wrap up reports.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure CRTC compliance across all CCD activities.
  • Collaborate with other key business units on CCD activities.
  • Working with Associate Director, administer CCD budget, including tracking of monthly invoicing and accruals.
  • Support development of annual CRTC filing.

Level of Education

  • Post-secondary education in event management, marketing or related field.

Job-related Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience working in events and sponsorship.
  • Experience and working knowledge of the music and entertainment industry.
  • Experience overseeing and managing event production.
  • Experience managing and executing small, medium and large-scale sponsorships.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with a wide range of employees, with different skill sets and experience levels.
